I am spending this week cutting up my scraps, mostly into 3", 3 1/2" and 4" blocks depending on the size of the scrap. Other than the regular 9 patch or disappearing 9 patch is there anything else I can do with the blocks? I'm new to this and didn't think I wanted to get into cutting blocks into triangles and using all the different sized squares.

There are many, many blocks that use those blocks. Go to www.quilting.about.com or www.quilterscache.com and you will get many ideas and patterns there. Let us know what you are going to make...We like to see what we all are doing.
