Ok, I have scoured all of my many free pattern website bookmarks and the two I could find are no longer free.

I'm looking for printable quilt patterns. I have saved some cardboard to make the templates. On my next hand quilting project, I have 3 1/2" open sashing and setting squares areas. I can get away with enough quilting leaving it alone and just stitching in the ditch.

Do you know of a site I can down load different shapes or scallops that I can draw onto template cardboard to then use with chalk or markers??

I'm pretty sure I can make a small square with cardboard and put in on point for a quilted diamond in the square, but I'd like to play in the borders a bit. Any suggestions??

Here are a few to check out, Melissa. I have to run an errand, but I'll look for more when I get back.

Well this isn't a website with a pattern, but here's a link with a tute from our very own Eddie showing how he made a scalloped border on one of his quilts. You could check this out, also.

Do you have MS Word?? There are shapes in AutoShapes that you might be able to use. I put tog a couple and this is what they looked like. If you "group them" you can pull them into any size scallop (you might have to trim the back edge of course). PM me if you have questions or want me to send you the word doc - I saved it.

Here's one I bookmarked a long time ago.

I think I'm going to put squares on point in the corner squares....to make them pop a little.

I like the idea of using Microsoft word...so I can go there and play around. So many of those motifs are so beautiful...but too intricate for this small job. The first one had a bit of rope, I hope I can figure out how to download it and get it to repeat The rope is small enough to fit in the little sashing strips I have.

Of course, I should have posted a picture of what it is...hold on...here it is, I went to get it.

The finished top is on page 3. This way, seeing the sashing, you'll see the size I'm looking at.

Thank you guys so much. I certainly found more places to bookmark!!
