Now that we have electric...

I can play again. The first photos are a quilt for Quilts for Kids. They sent me the kit and pattern. At first I wasn't too crazy about the black, but I really like it now. If anyone recognizes the black "bug" fabric I would like to track down more of it for a friend who has fallen in love with it.

The QAYG mug rugs were done last night (I just couldn't quit now that I have real electric - not just generator). One FQ and some leftover gold.

Those are wonderful and I am glad to hear you have electricity again!!! I have been worried about our members up in the NE that have been dealing with the issues of the cold and no power. Good to see you up and running again!!

Your quilt is gorgeous...normally I wouldn't like bug fabric but I love it...oh and the colors are perfect. Mug rugs are very pretty too.

I know Morgantown since I live between Harrisburg and Gettysburg. We used to have a vacation home near Rehobeth Beach, DE and would sometimes get off the turnpike at Morgantown and use Route 10...that actually was one of 2 favorite ways for me to go when I would drive down taking my kids and grandkids. Hubby preferred Route 41 Gap.

Have you lived in Morgantown a long time? Just wondering if you remember MOMS...don't think it is open any more. A woman I worked with back in the mid 80s told me about it...said it is great for back to school shopping. So I took my mother with me and we shopped for clothes for my 2 kids. Never got back there again.
