The other day on one of the quiliting shows, I saw a gal slip a net thingy thru the center of a spool of thread and then back up and around the spool to keep the thread from falling off. (clear as mud??)

It's a net kind of like a veggie might be covered in in the produce department.

I need something like that for my invisible polyester thead. It always falls off the back of the spool and hangs up on the thread spindle.

I know it ought to be easy to find a lot of places, but right now I'm not coming up with where.

Know where to find some?

They're called thread socks. Dritz and W.H. Collins makes it. You get a 20" length and cut to fit your thread spools. It really helps to keep the top thread flowing smoothly.

That's a neat idea, Craftybear!

Thank heavens! You understood what I was looking for. At least I know the name, now. THREAD NETS or THREAD SOCKS. I don't wear panty hose so I might just look for some at Joanns.

Thanks again!

If your local grocery store carries fresh flowers, they will give them to you free. Just ask them. If not pm me. I have a few.

Sounds like deal. Keeps me from running around a store looking for where they might be stashed.

How much?? And how many? The money will be in the mail as soon as I get your info!
