Today, I was moving the table that my 15-91 was sitting on and being very careful because it is heavy. Well, the table collapsed and dumped the machine onto the floor. It knocked a small chunk out of my wood floor and cracked the piece that the cords fit into and the plug. I was so upset! I am afraid to plug it in now because some wires are exposed so I'm going to have to get a new plug/pedal combo. I don't think it did anything else to the machine. And I'm going to have to find a way to fix my floor.

I guess I should be grateful that it didn't fall on my foot!!

Yes, you are lucky that you missed your foot! 15-91s are very heavy!!

Lesson learned...take the sewing machine off the table before you move it. I'm the same way.....want to get something done as quickly as possible. My husband thinks it a female thing....like loading yourself up with as many bags of groceries as you can so you only have to make one trip. He laughs at me.

Glad to hear you were not hurt. Floors can be easily fixed :-).

I do the same thing, because he sure isn't going to help. Even if most of the groceries are for him to eat.

Always remove things from tables before trying to move tham....almost with a certainty if you don't whatever is on the table will come tumbling down no matter how careful one is.

My folks used to call doing the many grocery bags at once thing "the lazy man's load" because it was meant to reduce work, but inevitably we dropped something and made more work! It's human nature, I guess.
