I have a fairly new TL98Q and I am going to need to oil it soon. Does anyone know of a video of anyone oiling their TL98Q. If not, I'd love it if somebody made a video of removing the cover and doing the oiling. I'm really quite nervous about doing it.

you don't need to remove anything Gail. Check your manual, I can't remember which page its on, but it shows you which holes on the machine to put a few drops of the oil into that came with the machine. I just had to do this myself about 2 weeks ago. I'll check my book when I get home.

I have the Pfaff equivalent of this machine and it needs oil ALL the time or it runs rough like a tractor. I got a bottle of oil with the telescoping spout and dribble oil in the 2 necessary spots. Check your manual.

Oh, really. My dealer said to take the cover off and oil where the manual says. I have the manual so I'll check again. Thanks

Mine has nine holes I need to put drops of oil in and of course the bobbin area. I oil it everytime I use it. My dear Juki is always thirsty.

Mine says to oil it once a day if used a lot.

Mine says the same. It's on a frame so when I use it I use it a long time. ( 6 to 8 hours ). So every time I get ready to use it I oil it. Between projects it gets taken off the frame and completely cleaned.
