I am getting ready to pin a lap throw and I ran onto a website showing the Kwik Kwip tool. Well, I thought, is there anything I have around here that have groves in it that I could possible use. Then I thought maybe the old seam ripper that I just replaced and had not yet thrown away might just do the trick. So I got it out and so far I am having really good luck using it to help with closing the pins. Maybe some of you already know about this but I haven't seen it on any post. Just wondering if any of the rest of you have tried it. The Kwik Klip is a little expensive and I would love to have some Pinmoors but they are way out of my budget.

Great tip :D:D:D

That is a great tip. I haven't heard of that either. You should send it in to the Fon's and Porter's TV show and get a free subscription to their magazine. (I think that's the standing offer for tips used on their show) Good luck!

I wanted to buy Pinmoors too, but, like you they are out of my budget. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a big package of pencil erasers. I cut the portion that fits over the pencil and use the flat side (bottom) of the slightly pointy portion like Pinmoors. It works great!
