I found all the info on the Singer, but cant find a manual for it online, will call them today and see.
But I can not find anything on the Fleetwood.

Singer is AH795161 Made 1948 Class 15.
Fleetwood CF21526 Model 840. Precision Built, made in Japan.

Anyone know anything about these babies.

My daughter found them in a rent house they are moving to.

I have class 15 Singer, looks like yours. They came in a cabinet that's why it looks like it has no sturdy bottom. I found the manual online, it's the manual that is used for most all the vintage Singers. If all the parts are there and the motor is okay, it will be a great machine to have. There are some great websites on restoring and maintaining old Singers. Parts are easy to find for them and not very expensive. I paid $150 for my Singer, excellent condition and in nice wood cabinet.

Here is picture of mine in use by my niece.

I have a free manual pdf for the model 15 and an article on the fleetwood which says it is similar to the singer 15 . If you would like to have these send me your email and i will send these articles to you. Hugs, Julie

Nice! You can pick up the slide plate for the Singer on ebay...I'll bet Billy could tell you more about your machines....or check Needlebar.org...great people there!

I did get the Fleetwood threaded up not plugged it in yet, there is a lose wire DH needs to fix that. I just hand cranked the wheel had to adjust tension and stitch length.

Need to get the plate and a spool holder for the singer. Then decide which one I want to put in the sewing cabinet. The other I will probably give to my daughter, she wants to learn to quilt.

Got the Fleetwood running, just need to give ole Bessie a good cleaning and a drink or so of oil and she will be a working horse. I have never in my life cleaned nor serviced a machine before. This is going to be fun.

The threading should be the same on both machines. Slide plate is still available for the Singer. I think that I would also get the needle plate, due to the rust. Wouldn't want any to flake off on a quilt top??? Give them a good oiling.
