I'm so lucky to be going to the quilt show this year. I'm going to keep an eye out for focus fabric for the one block wonder. I don't have a pattern yet but was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how much fabric I will need for at "least" a full size quilt?

Thanks

It depends on the size of the repeat. I thought there was a tute, but I can't find it. Anyway, I would definitely find a fabric that has a large repeat, so you will have more choices in your blocks. You have to have 6 repeats if it is a large repeat and I would definitely buy extra if you are thinking of doing a border with it.

I would say 8-9 yards for the one block wonder. You want to keep with 6 repeats though so depending on how big the repeat is to how much for sure and if you want some of the fabric for the border make sure you have extra.
