My 7 year old grandangel told his mom he wants to get me new safety pins for Christmas because all of mine are bent!
Bless his little heart, only another quilter would appreciate the humor in this so I had to share it! Hope it made you smile today. God Bless |

Very observant. I remember my grandson putting on my glasses and saying--No wonder you have trouble reading, I can't see a thing with these glasses. They see the world differently and its wonderful.
SOOO cute, and yes, VERY observant!
awwww How is the military quilt project going?
Aw, what an observant little guy. That is super cute.
My daughter bought a book mark for my mom for her birthday this year. She told me "Gramma needs a book mark, mommy. She always ruins her books by bending the pages!" lol |
What a sweet fellow. Nice to know he notices things and takes an interest in his grandmom's hobbies. Thanks for sharing.
How adorable! Pretty observant little Angel too! :)

That is one to remember, When I used to cross stccth a lot and my oldest was little he said one time "why do you always taste the thread mommy?" kids are so open and observent....
Too cute!
I laughed out loud on that one! How wonderful!
lol mine are all bent too
 How cute is that. I remember telling my granddaughter when she was 3 all I needed to do was bind the quilt she said "I'll bind it for you Nana." and started gathering it up in her arms.
How true! Little does he know how hard it would be to use the 'unbent' ones....
How Sweet. What a thoughtful young angel.
Oh how cute!! That's so funny. On the other side of that, if my kids need a safety pin for their clothes, it's always a bent one.
Awwww How sweet that he wants to take care of Grama :D:D:D
awww, what a cutie pie for him to think of this.... it did indeed cause me to smile :)

This reminds me of two years ago my younger sister was here and she helped put up my fire light alarm as I can't hear any alarm so if there is a fire a bright light will flash and wake me up. Any way, she found one of my quilting pins and she thought she bent is while stepping on it.. I had to show her the rest of the pins to show her they are made that way for quilting. She doesn't do any quilting , but her daughter does. But that was cute comming from a child. Huggies, Fay

My granddaughter was on her way to the trash can when she found one of my "bent" safety pins. I told her those were too expensive to throw away so used the moment for quilt education.

God Bless his little heart!!!!! I should never read things like this with a mouth full of tea! LOL. I LOVE IT!!!!!
Reminds me of the lady who posted about her little granddaughter who wanted to know why all the material got cut into little pieces. When she was told it was so that they could be sewn back together in all colors to make them pretty. She immediately went inside and proceeded to cut up all her mothers bathroom towels! I can't remember who posted it, but I sure did get a big guffaw from it and then had pity on the poor mom who had to go spend a fortune to replace the towels! |
That's to cute, at least you know he's watching you, maybe a future quilter.
