Number 1 appeals to me more, altho both are nice. Great fabric !

I love #2 -the blue contrasts nicely with the browns.

I like the first pic with the brown narrow border. But I think I would have to see the entire quilt to know for sure which reads better.

I really like number one with the brown inner border - I think it makes it look warmer!

me too. Eye is drawn first to the dominant brown in either one, the blue (or teal) in the center lets your eyes enjoy the whole quilt.

I prefer the 2nd one.

Both are nice - #1 emits a warmer tone; #2 cooler. Either choice is going to be a very nice quilt!
