I have a foot that the manual calls and "overcast" foot. Does anybody know what this is for? Is it anything like an "in the ditch" foot?

Looks kinda like the stitching you get with a serger when overcasting a seam

Doesn't look like an 'in the ditch' foot. Thanks for the video.

It's for sewing an overcast stitch that's similar to what a serger does. The little edge and flat surface keeps the fabric from rolling as the machine does the overcast. I've been wondering if I might be able to adjust my needle setting and use for a stitch in the ditch but haven't tried it yet. Seems like a possibility.

That's what I was wondering too. :)
