Would someone please tell me how to make a quilt using pillow panels? The one that I saw had like 4 pillow panels and the rest of the quilt was pieced together.....if anyone knows or even has a pattern will you please let me know...

Thanks

Just think of it as making a Round Robin quilt and just keep adding borders until you have it the right size. If you need it rectangular, add extra rows at the top and bottom. Rows could just be pinwheels or star blocks. Borders could be pieced like flying geese or piano keys. Appliqued vines with flowers is nice.

Quilters Cache has a lot of nice border patterns to look at:

I just did a google - images, panel quilts

This should give you some ideas

I'm getting ready to make a baby quilt from a kitten panel. They are only 3" squares so I plan on putting them in the center of a shoefly block.

Let us know what you decide to do.

I use panels but each one is so different. They have their own personality and that determines how I finish it. I use a lot of HST to border them and go from there.

I love using panels. They can be so much fun. I just put borders around them.
