At the quilt show in Virginia last weekend I saw a vendor selling packs of fat quarters and a pattern for a layered heart quilt. I don't know if that is the right name, but it was several hearts, one on top of each other in blues and yellows--sort of a raggedy look, but they were appliqued onto a background fabric. I passed it up n Sat., deciding to just look and decide on purchases and go back on Sunday to actually make the purchases. I couldn't find the booth on Sunday! I have done a search on a bunch of sites since then, but have not found any pattern like this one. I was hoping someone out ther would know of such a pattern.
Thanks in advance
Vicki

It makes me thing of the Buggy Barn quilts that Boo used to make........sorry I can't help more than that. They probably sold out that pattern before you got back there.

Try Fat Cat Patterns.com under Bulls Eye Patterns. The only one I remember seeing lately. :D

thanks for the ip. I have a heart template--the plastic kind with slots in it to trace different size hearts. I may just have to try something like that and see how it looks.

Post it if you try it! Have been wanting to do the flower pattern, but the UFO's just groan when I threaten to add one more to the stack....

I am making this type of wall hanging right now. I bought a pattern at Joann's but they are on clearance and may not have any more.

But your template will work Just cut different sizes to layer them with room in between each one.

I went looking online Vicki, but didn't see what you've described. If you find a picture, could you please post it? I'd be interested in seeing it.
