Patterns for charm squares

Hi everyone: I have just been given a couple of wonderful 5" square Moda charm packs. Believe there are 42 squares in each. Can you give me project ideas or direct me in some way. Thanks

My favorite books is Charm Quilts, by Beth Donaldson. But there are alot of free patterns out there on the internet. Congratulations on the charm packs. I love playing with them.

My absolute favorite charm square book is 'More Nickle Quilts' by Pat Speth. I have other books but they use 6 1/2 inch charm squares or 4 inch. This book is for 5 inch charm squares and you can use any type of fabric you choose, each and every pattern is just beautiful. I believe she has an earlier book called 'Nickle Quilts' with Charlene Thode.

Do you want a quick modern project? Just use Kona black for a narrow sashing and put all the squares together that way. You max the use of the fabric and it usually looks really nice as well.

Check out Missouri Star Quilt Company on Youtube. Jenni has great tutorials on charm packs.

Eleanor Burns has a little booklet called tossed nine patch that is wonderful. I am making one for my friend and made one for my kids and I liked it so much, I kept it for the couch. LOL Makes us fast.

I live 20 minutes form this Quilt Shop so I have actually seen this Ringlets Table Topper. It is very attractive--especially with the feather stitching around the leaves. I bought the Leaves Galore Ruler from this Quilt Shop to make a different table topper that they made with it and this ruler is very easy to use--and fun.

My first project with a charm pack was a Chubby Charmer tote by Quilts Illustrated. Huge tote and quite easy too.
