Could anyone share a free pattern with me for a pot holder that is paper pieced. I probably will need it to show me the numbers, etc. Thanking you all in advance.

DJG: you can use any paper piecing patters you have for pot holder. can size to up or just borders to the size you like.

check out caroldoak.com she has quite a few free patterns any would work into potholders hope it helps and i had the easiest of times with hers

You can also go to Quilter's Cache http://www.quilterscache.com/
under the Quilt Blocks Galore section and there are many blocks there. If you search alphabetically or by block size, you will see which blocks are paper pieced.

Just start sewing scraps or strips down on a piece of muslin a little bigger than whatever size you want your potholder to be. Start in the center and work around or if using strips, it doesn't matter.

As others said, any block can be turned into a potholder.
