Paula Reid DVD or Class

Has anyone ever taken a Paula Reid class in machine quilting? I have an opportunity to register for three classes she will teach at my LQS this spring, but the fee is $80 for each class and the shop does not offer a refund even with ten days' notice of non-attendance. Needless to say, I do not feel the possible loss of $240 is insignificant. Although I might be able to get a store credit, I know that I would NOT want to spend so much in that particular shop! SO, if you did take her class, did you feel it was worth $80?

I went on line to see if there were any Paula Reid tutorials on You-Tube and found that she does have a set of DVDs that are $35 each and there are no "used" copies on Amazon.com or e-bay, nor are they available at my library.

I have never even heard of Paula Reid....I will go look her up now. The fee seems high to me.

i took classes from her when she was at my lqs a couple of years age, it was well worth the price...she is a very talented engaging instructor and works well with individuals in her classes. i purchased 2 of her dvd's and a couple of patterns as well. I think a class with her is well worth the asking price
