OK update: I have one more, well heard so much about it here on the board well. . . . . LOL I just had to get one and try it, will let you know how I like it next time I have to rip any thing.

Ok so true confessions: I have not one but two “The Quick Ripper”, an electric shaver type thing. When I use one at sewing bees, which is often, everybody knows because of the “Buzz of Shame”.

Seam rippers are the friends you don't want to hang out with. Another option is a pair of manicure scissors.
