My friend has offered me her Pfaff 1222 E machine. It was working fine (I saw it working) when she got it out to use about 4 months later, it was running veerrrryy slowly. She found another on CL and put the slow one away.
What would I be looking at in repair costs? What can I check for myself before sending it in for repair? I want it for the walking foot but not if it is going to be cost prohibitive to fix. Thoughts? |
I think the only way you can know for sure is to take it to a repair shop for an estimate.

Dunno, but it will be worth the repair, most likely. It's one of the all-time great Pfaffs.
