My dear friend's mother is in a nursing home and unable to sew anymore. They need to sell her sewing machine to have some spending money for her. I know nothing about this sewing machine. It comes with all the attachments, several manuals, a hobbyolck 774 and a awesom sewing cabinet that holds it all. Do you think asking 900 for all would be too much. I need to go over and sew on the machine to make sure its ok, my friends says she took very good care of it. I just want to ask a fair price and help her out. If anyone out there has any input I would love to hear it. Thanks, Ana

I have a 1475 cd. I love, love, love my machine. I wish I had a second one for back up. I dread taking it in for service. It was easier to leave my children on the first day of kindergarten than to part with my machine. I've been working it like a dog for apx 20 years. Last time I checked a used one on line was about $600.00 and included none of the extras you mentioned. It has a built in walking foot which I only disengage if required by the foot.Even though money is really tight I would try to scrape it together if it were my opportunity. Good Luck.

Sounds like a fair price to me. I wouldn't hesitate especially if it would help her dear mother.

It is one of the best older machines you can buy and most people who have one won't trade them in when they buy a new one. I have the 1473, which was the top of the line before the 1475 came out. I wouldn't part with it for anything, and I just bought a new Pfaff QE 4.0.

I paid either $300 or $400 for my 1475CD 2.5 years ago. It was originally purchased from the shop where I got it and was traded in on a newer machine. All the service had been done at this shop and the previous owner was a regular customer. It came with all the original attachments, including the manual and dust cover.

I love this machine, but I'm not an experienced sewer. My wife has a 2038 that we purchased new, but I prefer my machine.

Hope this helps.

I unfortunately had to leave my 1473 behind in the UK but thankfully my daughter is now the proud owner and using it and loving it!! I wouldn't have changed it for anything, it has sewn everything from wedding dresses to ballet tutu's without any problems whatsoever.
