I bought one similar @ JoAnne's years ago and it has been wonderful for cutting, layering the quilt!! I love mine!

My thoughts are that this 2 shelves design would make it MORE sturdy, but I think it is a bit expensive. If space is a factor, then the folding part is great. If you can afford it, why not give it a try? Otherwise, an office type table on blocks or bed risers, or the one from Joanns would be much cheaper. I don't know anything about this table, but I am using a computer desk made by Sullivan, that we bought 20 years ago or so. It is very sturdy. So it is a good brand...or it was 20 years ago. This desk isn't metal though, it is composite wood, or something like that. It came in a box from K-Mart and my husband put it together. Right now it is my sewing machine table and my laptop holder. :)

I think Hancock's has a similar table also, but not sure of its cost. Hard to decide from just a picture, isn't it?

I googled this table, just because I was curious, and here is a different view of it. The real difference I see between it and others I found is the two shelves. It looks really stable.

Thats kinda pricey. As well as looking very cheaply made for the price.

Check CL, or secondhand furniture stores. Or if your spouse or someone is handy with tools have them make a table for you.

I purchased the one from Joann's several years ago it is a little ""unsteady" wobbly
but it does the job and has locking casters on it.
I don't really have enough room to "open" to use as a cutting table, but I do love it.

Mine does NOT have the two shelves under it though.

Also I purchased mine when it was on sale and got it for $approx $75 and I got a cutting
mat to fit the top, but since I am unable to open my table to use it as intended that also
means I have never used the cutting mat either YET.

If you've got one close enough, consider looking at Ikea's work table options--you can choose your options for legs, top, possibly some shelves, and many legs are adjustable. I really like mine, and it's sturdy but wasn't expensive.

I have one, but no shelves. I think I paid 80.00 for it around 2001. I like mine. I did lose one of the casters in the move from Texas, but otherwise, I think its a great table. I saw one in the link you provided, listed for 129.00.

I have the Joann's one without the shelves. I can only have one flap up but use that for cutting with a large olfa mat. I think it would be too high to support a quilt. At least it would be for my setup so I.'d check your measurements rather than be disappointed. I got mine with a coupon too.
