WILL THERE BE QUILTING IN HEAVEN
I know my days are numbered But what that number is I cannot hazard single guess The knowledge solely His. After I have seen the light And left my family’s side I wonder, will my time include Soft cotton smooth and wide. I’ve gained much satisfaction From quilts I’ve made down here And do not wish to stop it yet For many a coming year. My cedar chest is bursting full But always wanting more Thinking many quilts ahead I return to local store. My stash, it grows and then it shrinks With great variety. I wonder will there be a source Of fabric there for me? Will Heaven have a quilting club? So keen I am to go To sit with other ladies And be content to sew. Beyond the lovely pearly gates If quilting there will be My heart will overflow with joy. I can hardly wait to see. I’m told it is a happy spot The Bible clearly states. If not I think I’ll contemplate A trip some other place. Anne L. Fulton October 6, 2007 Rock Island, Oklahoma |

Can we take our stashes with us? Because, isn't the one who dies with the most, the winner???

Thanks for all the nice comments.
I sure hope there is. Just think we could all be quilting ALL DAY!! Someone could just come in and feed me so that I would not have to get up and make something. LOL. Anne |
