Does anyone know if it is ok to use polyster thread for embroidery on satins? and if not what can I use?.

Thank you,
Vicki

Use a size 10 or 12 needle if the satin is not a tight weave & you should be fine (for 60 wt. thread). If it is a tighter weave, I would recommend a size 8 needle with a larger eye, so as not to shred your thread. I use Isocord Poly thread for MANY projects, including machine quilting on non-cotton fabrics, hemming slacks, machine embroidery, & decorative top stitching. It is a wonderful thread, available in MANY COLORS!!!
