I have made the lone star quilt using this method. It was VERY easy and FAST. I also hand quilted it. I made it for my grandson and he loves it.
I also machine embroidered his name and a few gold stars. I would love to include a pic but the quilt is in Indiana and I am in Pennslyvania.
