Thank you so much for the tip re. marking sashings . Just tried it on one strip. This is the first time I have not had to rip out some part of my strip. I hope it wasn't beginners luck.
Again thank you for posting this tip for Diana (so I could borrow it). I thought I was the only one with this problem. So nice to know I'm not alone. True4uca |
true4uca, you are NOT alone! was surprised to read how many mark for accuracy and that does include me. :D

Oh, wonderful! So glad that technique worked for you! I don't think it's beginner's luck. It's the one method of attaching sashings that always works for me without fail. Only I know what my sashings looked like before I stumbled across that method.....

I'm really glad it worked for you too, True4uca!
Isn't this board absolutely wonderful!! So many wonderful people so willing to share thier knowledge in such a caring way! :D :D |

Sorry, but I must've missed this thread, and would like to know where it is so I too, can benefit from your sashing marking method. I just messed up my DH's quilt that I had planned to put in our local quilt show next month because of trying to stitch on the sashings without marking them. Help, please. Thanks. |
