I use Sulky poly top and bottom. Never had a problem, if I wind the bobbin slowly. I use it for appliqueing if I want the design to shine and not the thread.

When I thread with it I don't pass it through the last little thread holder that is by the needle. I use regular thread to match my background in the bobbin. Hope it works.

I use Coats & Clark invisible thread from JoAnn's and I have a Janome machine and I've never had a problem. I wind it in the bobbin like normal thread and I don't need to hand wind it. It goes through the threader by the needle and all I do is lower the tension from 4 to 3. It does tend to create bird's nests easier if I don't bring my bobbin thread to the top but that's just a good incentive for me to actually bring it up. :lol:
