Proflex quilting frame???
Does anybody know anything about a Proflex quiting frame?
Somebody has one on craigslist for sale. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about them. Thank you, Judy |
I have one. It is an okay frame. I might have bought a different one but really had no way to try out different ones. Can you tell me the price? If it is around $500 or $600 I would say go for it cause it would be a good deal, but if it much more I would look at some other new machines and go from there. One thing I don't like is that it does not have ratchets at the ends to hold the tension on bars - have to tighten a knob on the end. I am not crazy about the handles on the carriage either. There is a yahoo group that has more info.

She advertised it for $350 but has not emailed me back yet.

for that price I hope you get it. I would definitely think that is a good deal! Now she's not talking about the Superquilter table top frame, is she?

Im going to pick it up tomorrow. I got her down to $320. Not it isn't a table top one. Im excited. But, I have to drive 2 hours one way to get it

Congrats! I was JUST looking @ this frame this morning. What machine are you planning on using? Does this one come with the platform for using pantografs? also, did you get a stitch regulator with it??? When you get her up and running - please let us know likes/dislikes. I am interested in purchasing one also. Thanks!

I got the frame but don't have it completely put together yet. I have no idea what machine I will use with it. I normally use old singers. I doubt they will work with this. I don't think I got a stitch regulator. I really don't know anything about it yet. It will be interesting learning how to use it. I only paid $320 for it so I think I got a good deal. I hope so anyways. I will keep you posted.
