To answer your question about using the curtain stretcher--NO I plan to try convert the wood to a Quilt Frame if possible. I will have to see how a Quilt Frame looks. Thanks

These strechers also saved on ironing....My gram died in the 60's and still had her lace curtains :D

i have one and yes it is aguilting frame. they shoul be labeled top, left and rightsides, they should have a tripod lik leg on the two outer sides. top n' bottom are labeled as well. pins should all face to ihe inside. then thereis a sliding (adjustable ruled piede shorter htan the other that way you can adjust the rack to the size of the guilt u r working on hope this helps.

good for you. this is 2009, not 1809. no one should have to do that to curtains. if you do, get blinds.
