Question about batting
 

Could someone tell me the pros and cons on bamboo batting and is it best for machine quilting or hand quilting.

I have used Quilter's Dream batting called DREAM ORIENT with excellent longarm results. Beautiful drape and so cuddly. Daughter in CA has quilt with this in it. She says warm in winter and cool in summer. Contains bamboo, some silk, some cotton and botanic tencel (eucalyptus wood pulp). Read more about it on their website. Not all battings with bamboo quilt nicely. Others will share which ones.

i have a friend that used bamboo batting and when she washed the queen size quilt, it shrank 6 inches!!!:thumbdown: So make sure you account for that!
