If somebody has made one, I was wondering which is better, Flannel or Warm/Natural batting to cover a piece of insulation or foam etc.?

I have my DH working on making one for me, but I need to go to Hobby Lobby and get the fabric to cover it. HL has flannel on sale or I can get the 40% coupon off on the Warm/Natural batting.

Thanks for any advice and help.

I actually used felt on my board.

I've heard of people using a cheapie flannel-back tablecloth for it! Probably like 5 bucks if you get one that is for the "wrong season".

I saw flannel back table cloths for $3.99 - 20% today and they were all patriotic. I picked up 2 and put them down...until we're really making the wall.

Good luck - post pictures when he's done - we love pictures.

I have a piece of warm and natural up on the wall right now. The pieces really cling nicely to it :D:D:D

I used felt. It is available in wide widths and comes in a variety of neutral colors.

I need a design wall. What do you put the felt onto?

I am having great success with Warm and Natural. Its almost like velcro.

just discussing this topic at lunch today with hubby. Trying to figure out how to get a larger one. At this all i have is a piece of warm & natural clip to a dowel rod like a curtain rod.

Go to Lowes, Home Depot, etc. and look in the insulation department for large (4' x 8') styrofoam insulation panels. You'll find several different types. You can use spray glue to attach the fabric to the panels. They are very light and can be easily attached to a wall. Because they are foam, you can also pin things to them.
