I get the coupons in the Sunday papers and was wondering - when I get a 50 percent off coupon, can I use it to buy an entire bolt of fabric? I was thinking of getting some white or off white muslin since it seems to go with everything. What do you think? Virg

Yep!! I've gotten bolts of batting!

You sure can use it on the entire bolt. If you use it, buy it.

You can use your 50% off coupon to buy the entire bolt or any amount you wish, if the bolt is regular priced and not on sale. They will not override the sale price and charge you regular price for the bolt to enable the use of the coupon. They used to do that, but not any more.

I used mine to get a bolt of Heat and Bond!! Just look for a bolt still in the plastic wrap and you can go straight to the register!!
Great Deal!!

Sign up on line for more coupons! You can also sign up in the store for them to mail you coupons, and guess what?? You can use all of them on one transaction, one coupon per item.

That is typically what I do with mine. Just make sure it is not on sale, or you can't use a coupon.
I buy bolts or rolls of batting, muslin, heat & bond, stitch & tear... what ever I use lots of.
I just wish they sold a 10,000 yd ( or larger) spool of thread!

I have bought 12000 yd cones of thread from the Atlanta Thread & Supply Co. they have lots of colors, parts, machines--you name they have it. they are still in business. I just ordered a new catalog and the prices she said were updated on line.

You can use it for anything that is regular price. I use mine often for bolts of batting.

QuiltnLady1 08-15-2011 08:34 AM

Definitely!! As long as you don't have them cut the batting or fabric, you can buy the whole bolt. Like many folks have mentioned, batting is a great one to buy the bolt.

yeah especially at the price of batting here in Minot any way. don't know what the cost is now. haven't bought any for quite a while but my mom did and said at 1/2 price it was $70 for regular batting.
