question about T-shirt quilts

Has anyone ever made a T-Shirt quilt from an entire T-shirt? I have a customer who wants the entire shirt included on the quilt. If you have, how do you do it?
Thanks! Any help will be greatly appreciated:)

Is your customer wanting the T-Shirt left in one piece?
..... or just wants all the fabric used?

Wouldn't you do it the same as if you were just cutting off the logo (or whatever)?

I'm thinking to cut the shirt apart on the seamlines, to keep all the fabric but the bump of the seams.

The articles email I got today from this quilting board has all about making t-shirt quilts. I haven't made one and have no plans to.

I have not made a quilt where full garments were stitched to make a quilt. Sounds difficult but do they mean using the front and backs but cut into squares? If that is the case you could put the fronts on the front of the quilt and the backs on the back of the quilt for a reversible quilt.

Could you please give us the link ... not everyone gets the same weekly message.

Mine today was caring for your rotary cutter!

My customer wants the whole T-shirt including the arms and neck. He doesn't want it cut apart.

Is he wanting it done in a window, so he can see the front and back?

Or is he wanting it put on top of the quilt, so you only see the front (or back)?

Or does he want the whole T-Shirt to be the whole quilt?
...... this might be the easier idea, though unless he's a big man, it'll be a small quilt! :)

He wants the whole T-shirt as the middle block and then wants the other blocks cut out of other T-shirts. I just need to know how to incorporate the whole T-shirt? I hope this makes sense:)
