Questions about embroidery thread..

Where do you buy your thread and what kind do you use? I am at a lost as what to buy and need help from actual users. I just got a Brother PE 780D for Christmas, and its my first embroidery machine. So any and all information would help me greatly.

Thanks

Faye

I use Sulky or Maderia thread (rayon) with my Viking Designer Topaz. Make sure you use an embroidery needle, and I found that the pre-wound bobbins work wonders. When buying those, make sure you know the class of your bobbin. Hope this helps.

http://www.brothermall2.com/Default.aspx (the PAS Store) Is where I get my Maderia Poly Thread it is the only thread that I use. I have never had a problem with it, my machine likes it, I like it. It has a nice shine, and holds up very well to lots of washing as in baby items and bleach. Give it a try I think you will like it.

I bought the whole metro line because it was less expensive. I also very much like marathon...both lines are beautiful and affordable. I use finishing touch in the bobbin. Good luck!
