As many of you know from a past post of mine, I have lots of vintage fabrics. Well, while trying to reorganize my sewing room, I have decided that I am going to sell a lot of the fabrics and keep only the ones that I REALLY will make something out of. So, here are my questions: 1) would it be better to sell whole pieces or to cut them into smaller pieces? 2) how much is a good price (fair to both parties)? These questions refer to the vintage fabrics. I will be doing this via paypal and/or postal money orders, and I will be posting pics in a few days. Thanks, Conni

The first thing you need to do is try to date the fabrics as close as possible. Vintage means different things to different people. Some might want smaller pieces to use to repair quilts of the same age, others might want larger ones for the same reason. I iknow that one quilt repair company charges by the square inch for fabrics that are 80+ years!
