Quilt Cad

Well a belated Merry Christmas to me. I'm so nervious about spending $2300 on this set-up,but also real excited as well, grin. DH just ordered a 12 ft. Pinnacle frame combo, comes with Juki, laser etc. Also Quilt Cad, never heard of it, is this something I need. I do want to do pantos & I think this might be for printing pantos or am I way off. Of course I won't have room to set this up till the spring.

just looked at that this morning on the Grace frame site - yes it is for printing pantographs on your own home printer.

Hubby and I are looking for a similar Juki system...did you buy local or on-line?

You can also use Quilt CAD for designing your own quilting.

I have it with my HQ ProStitcher and use it for this quite a lot. I like that I can repeat, resize, and more. Of course, with the HQ it also drives the machine to do the quilting I choose.

I printed off the tutorials and put them in ring binders for reference. Best to use prepunched paper unless you like to punch your own holes for the ring binders. It took awhile but was well worth it for me.

Enjoy,

ali
