Am I hallucinating or did someone recently post about an invisible quilt hanger?

I don't recall the post you are talking about but this is how I make hangers for quilts/wallhangings... http://pieceocakeblog.blogspot.com/2...-donation.html There is nothing to see if you sew the triangles on when sewing the binding on the front (before folding it over and stitching down)!

Oh I like the looks of that ... would help to hold it out nicely at the corners!

I just make a top pocket and leave a "window" in the center. Then insert a small dowel (avail at any home improvement store like Home Depot - cheap!)
It's easy to saw/cut the dowel to the right length, I've even used kitchen scissors to score it all around, then snapped it off!
Hammer in a nail or screw in a screw in the middle of the place where you want to hang it. When you hang the quilt, place it so the nail holds up the dowel, through the little "window". Just adjust it side to side to get it level.
Nothing fancy, and it's cheap.

Love the triangle idea! I thought (hallucinated) some sort of wire hanger with clips. Ring a bell?

That would work for minis, but you'd still need something in the center for a full size quilt. I do like the concept.
