I just started keeping one in January but wish I had started a long time ago.

I've always taken pictures of the projects that I've done but only recently began putting them into an album. It's not exactly a quilting journal since I've had to try almost everything out there so it includes garment sewing, chicken-scratch, crewel embroidery, counted cross-stitch, basket weaving and only in the last few years predominantly quilts. I love it though. I call it my creative accomplishment album. Y'know how you have those days when you feel like you haven't really accomplished anything? More "un-sewing" than quilting? Having this to look back at helps those days.

when my husbands aunt passed away she had a very nice journal so I dicided I would make one for my projects I need to work on it to update it but they are really nice.

I have a journal. It's a good way to keep track of what you created and who you gave it to. I just need to print out the pics I took and tape them in the book. A scrape book is a great idea.
