Quilt label...do I make a quilt label twice as large or two separate ones?
I made a lap quilt for a relative who has advanced cancer of the lymph nodes...anyways my question is I want to let her know that the profit from the top of the quilt fabrics that was purchased support rescued cats and that the back of the quilt which is the pink ribbon profits supports cancer.....Do I make my quilt label twice as big to put all that information and what I normally put on my quilt labels or do I make two quilt labels? If I make two quilt labels do I place them side by side or do I place them on each side of the quilt?

I'd make a normal label and give her that info in a pretty card.

I like that idea! Gives her the information needed and doesn't clutter up the quilt. It can then be dedicated to her

My labels are 6 x 9 (before sewing down) I like to put a lot of info. I made a lap quilt once that had different blocks and made a second label to say what the block names are. You can put two if you like. I know the quilt will not mind. I've heard that people like to have a lot of information about something hand made.
