When I started quilting most were hand quilted. It's really changed for sure. I still love to hand quilt but am also learning to MQ so I can get more finished :)

You can find old mags on Ebay and places like that if you want some to go through. I got rid of mine or I'd send you some.

I LArm and I agree with you. I have so many ladies ask me to do really loose quilting because they don't want it stiff. It is much more like hand quilting when it is looser.

Most/Some machine quilters quilt until it is stiff. IMHO less is more. They could quilt it half as much and I would like it twice as much. I always talk with the long- arm women about the amount of quilting on each quilt. As soon as I finnish my UFO's I will hand quilt ONE QUILT at a time.
