I am in need of a quilt pattern for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves the Disney Princess' and I need a pattern that would require a 5 1/2 inch square center. I have only been quilting for almost a year and any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Try Warm Wishes. The big block would work well for fussy cut princess blocks and the pieced block could be done in neat coordinating fabric.

I made a 'Dora the Explorer' Sawtooth for one of my granddaughter's.
The center square is 6 1/2", if that could work.

the pattern's at: http://quilterscache.com/S/SawtoothBlock.html

and the one I made is at: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/20199.page
This also shows the Warm Wishes 'Bugs' quilt I made for my grandson.
:-)
