Quilt pattern: Raspberry Dessert from Quiltmaker's May/June 2011

I am looking for a pattern in Quiltmaker's May/June 2011 issue. It is called Raspberry Dessert. I am a beginning quilter and don't really know if I can do this. Is the best way to get a copy of the pattern to order the back issue from Quilmaker.com website? Are there any promo or discount codes out there?

If there is another/better way to get the pattern - please let me know?

Go to the website and about mid page you will see a yearly button. Scroll to the year then the issue. I just did and the Raspberry Dessert is right there! Have fun!

Thank you. Yes. I understand how to order the issue but just wanted to ask the experts if that was the best way (cheapest way) to get the pattern. :)

Your best bet would probably be to buy the magazine. You'd probably find other helpful information in it, too, although I'm not familiar with magazines. The pattern looks to be fairly easy. It has two different easy blocks (one is sort of a half log cabin, and the other one is a square-in-a square) and then put on point. Very pretty, and you can do it! I found this photo: http://www.quiltersclubofamerica.com.../p/193109.aspx

Good luck and be sure to show us your results. What colors do you have in mind?

There was a promotion a couple days ago for 50% off back issues of magazines. Don't know if the one you want is in it, but here is the link: http://www.quiltandsewshop.com/categ...ckIssueBlowout

The pattern is in the book Skip the Borders by Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts. the book has some really nice patterns in it.
