I just got back from FIT in NYC. I delivered my first ever to be juried quilts in a show. I have done shows before, but never with a jury. I have butterflies in my stomach. One of them I am not expecting much positive comments because I made the quilt way before I decided to enter it into a show and made my binding quickly by machine and was not too careful. But my Geisha was done with attention to all details. I expect positive comments. Cross your finger for me, please.

Good for you! I'll cross my fingers and toes for you. When is the show?

Here's hoping for positive results!

It's great that you entered your quilts in a juried show. Just remember, the comments they give can be regarded as constructive criticism--intended to help you improve your quilting--not as destructive comments to make you feel bad...
