Two fleece pieces put together and held by putting a strip of cloth throw both pieces and tieing it in a knot all around the outer edge. It is adorable. Could easily make it in one day. Anyone made one of these?

I've never seen one with fabric around it. You actually cut the two pieces of fleece.

here's one. fleece throws are fast to do. wash, trim selvages off, lay one on top of another and cut 4 to 5 inch fringes about 1 inch wide around the edges. also cut out squares in corners 4 to 5 inches so the fringe will lay right when done. tie fringe together all around.

My SIL made a bunch of these. They're great.

There's another thread about this today but I can't figure out why you cut the corners on them.

How do they wash?

If you don't cut the 5" squares out of each corner your throw will have rounded corners. Doesn't look good and won't lay flat! Don't ask how I know!

I made a couple of these before. They are pretty quick to do and man....they are warm!!!!

The fringe cuts make the corners come out naturally anyway. Most importantly, you have to lay them both out and trim both layers together... otherwise your fringes don't like up perfectly. They are great, very warm, and easy for kids to make for friends (can you tell I have another almost-teenager?)

I made quite a few, then I began quilting the two layers together and I just them.
