Anyone know of any good ones on the web? I want to do this for my Mickey Mouse quilt so's I can have it done by my boy's bday. But I just realized tonite, how do I do the border around the blocks? Do I add that to the outside blocks and quilt them together? Do I quilt it separately? How is this done?!
There was an article in one of my magazines, but I can't find the darn thing now. *sigh* |

There was an article in one of my magazines, but I can't find the darn thing now. *sigh* You need to plan ahead, visualizing where you are going to rejoin the top together after quilting....does that help??? |

I'm in the process of doing one now, I forgot on a couple of pieces to leave myself room for a seam, got a wee bit too close and it's a real pain to get it joined.
