Some people use the window type cards and put a small pieced block into it; some just stitch their fabric on the front of cardstock, some fuse fabric on cardstock, some cover the whole front of the card with fabric. You haven't said what type of quilted card you want to make, so I suggest you might want to go to Etsy and take a look at the styles that are offered for sale there. Once you have a more definite idea of what it is that you want to wind up with, perhaps we can be of more help finding instructions for you. :o

Thanks for the thread and for the answers so far. I was just thinking how cool these would be for next year.

I just fuse my fabric on the entire card! Then fuse my greetings!!!!!!!!!

Here's an easy tutorial on sewing scraps to cardstock or you can use regular greeting cards and cover the front.

HP.com has many borders that you can insert a picture of a quilt or block and print it out as either a card or postcard. I have used it a few times to make quilt cards.
This works great for recipe cards you are sharing too, on the picture cardstock.
There are tutorials and full classes there as well. A great site.

By the way... they also have printable quilt labels there too.
