Does anyone know how to make a quilted jacket?

Is there a website with instructions somewhere or does anyone know how to make one from a sweatshirt where you quilt on it???

Thanks.

I think you can pretty much use the sweatshirt as a base for any pattern, designwise, once you open it up.

sewnsewer2,
quiltnnana isn't on that often, but she posted jackets a while ago and may be a good resource. Good luck with your projects :-)

sewnsewer, I didn't have it saved but found a link to her name under search. I hope this helps----the jackets are under the pix of blocks.

What an appropraite question for me too! I saw several last week end at the airing of the quilts in Tunkhannock andhave decided- I want one too!!!

Let us know how you make out, I have to add it to the "to do" list as I need to stay on track and finish my ufo first.

I everyone, just saw this post and was looking for something different to make when I came across this site. Check it out it has quite a few different jackets, sweatshirts and kimonos and well as some fab quilt patterns, not expensive either.

Here is the link ENJOY

Thanks! I'll have to study it awhile to figure out out it is done using a sweatshirt. Right now, I'm totally baffled.
