Quilted replacement pads for metal folding chairs
I was at the Mancuso quilt show in Hampton, VA last weekend and saw a very attractive metal folding chair that had a quilted replacement seat pad and back on it. The vendor ( I have no idea who it was.) was selling the pattern, which I did not look at closely. Wouldn't you know, yesterday my oldest son asked if I would consider replacing the pads on their folding chairs! I did a google search and didn't come up with anything. Does anyone know where I can get this information?

Here's one. It's called Quilt on a Chair. http://diannespringerdesigns.com/quiltchair.html

that link shows a very pretty folding chair, indeed. god luck with your project. i replaced pads many years ago. the difficult part is to reconnect the pads to the chair tightly.

A Notion To Quilt in Shelburne Falls, MA has a pattern for one and I'm sure Becki, the owner, would send it to you if you wanted to purchase it.

Sounds very interesting and not something every one else has

It you decide to do one, please post a picture. I'd love to see it.

I checked out the link. Cute chair..But, I'm sure that could be done without a pattern, it seems to be the same as re-covering a padded dining room chair.
