I looked in the tutorials and couldn't find one and I did an google search and found patterns to purchase. Does anyone have a free pattern for this? I made one and I think it turned out okay but wondered if it needed cardboard on the bottom. Thanks.

I have made a few out of faux leather, cotton and upholstery fabrics. I was not able to use the snaps on the thicker fabrics, but I did one using tie ribbons and that works well, too. Great gifts for anyone who travels or even as a dresser tray.
Here is a link to the free pattern I use from Angie's Bits & Pieces site: http://ajpadilla.com/patterns/quick-...es/travel-tray

Thank you very much. I hadn't thought of snaps before. I appreciate the response.
