This was on another site I belong to and thought it was so cute I just needed to share it.

Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be fat quarters or a pattern or lace?
Or a quilt kit, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him,
"Hi Santa," I said
"You know....good little girls should be in their beds ".
"I know I should Santa, and now I've got caught.
But I was just so excited to see what you brought."
"Well, let's take a look in this room where you work."
He shook his head quickly, And left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear.
"You've got enough stuff, I'll see you next year!"

Ha, that's great!! When I first started reading it, I though "hey, I'll email this to hubby so he can read it and get me some good quilting goodies" - well, I finished. Suffice it to stay, no email is going out.

Know what you mean. DH would probally agree with Santa.

Ditto! Too funny, but hubby is definitely not getting this one.

Oh Santa....not YOU too :shock: :shock: and all of this time I thought that Mrs Clause was a quilter!!!

She is a quilter and he's seen her room. LOL

I think Santa would take pitty on me tho because I don't have much fabric anymore. I have been working from my scraps all year!

Sadly Santa and my hubby would agree....that is why DH cannot see this!! LOL
