Thank you to sak658 (Shirley) for all her help in my order from Quilting and Fabric Shop. She sent me some pictures of the shelves in the shop and then went to the shop to assist me with my order. I placed the order on Tuesday and got it today!! It was perfect! I told her the colors I use and the kinds of things I make and she did the rest. I got 35 yards of mostly Moda blenders, crackle, swirls and prints. They were $3.50 per yard, $4.00 per yard and $4.50 per yard. She also had calico fabric for $2.00 per yard. It was a great shopping experience and I will buy from this shop again!!

These fabrics are perfect for my stash!

This shop is called Quilting & Fabric Shop and is located in Channelview, TX. I don't know TX well enough to tell you how far it is from Dallas/Ft Worth, but it would be worth the trip if it is close.

The shop is a little far from Dallas 4-5 hrs. It's just outside Houston on I-10 east @ Beltway. Maybe you can visit them online at www.quiltingandfabrics.com website is still under construction but gives some stuff. Great people & shop. I've bought over 100yds in the last wk because of the excellent prices!

Did you know they make a new Peanut Butter Snickers bar?

I am bringing a tote of pieces to share. For anyone who wants them. Leftover strips, charms, squares, etc.

additional info

There are 3 shops in Weathford, Texas; That is appx 50 miles west on I-20 from Ft. Worth/Dallas. Dallas is east of Ft Worth. This is how it goes : Eastside. Dallas, middle-Arlington(being squeezed by both), then Ft. Worth(West)--next is a small town or two then Westherford(going West). Gibsons in Westherford has LLOTTSS of Fabric of all kinds and its a good price. We live another 150 miles west from there near Abilene, Tx. Now East of Dallas are several small towns that have LQS. If Google Texas Quilt Shops you will find alot of them. Looking north-- Ft. Worth is on the left(West) and Dallas is on the right(East). If that will help. I hope so. Houston is appx. 300 miles South South East of Dallas to the Gulf Coast. Grandbury is northwest of Houston I think on I-45.
